Prayer Week 2020
Time & Location
About the Event
Dating back over 140 years, Prayer Week was the starting point for the C.E. movement and continues to be a powerful way that young people can pray for and with believers all over the world. Through Prayer Week, Christian Endeavor seeks to provide meaningful ways for young people to glorify God through engaging in prayer and worship and connect young believers around the world in united prayer.
Kick-off Prayer Event – taking place on the first weekend in February, these prayer & worship events are planned, coordinated and led by young people in their churches. The beauty of this is in the variety and uniqueness of each local prayer event! Kick-off Prayer Events could be students leading the Sunday morning worship service for the whole congregation, or a special event held on Friday or Saturday. This event provides the kick off to a week of intentional prayer activities.
Daily Devotional Guide – during the first full week of February, students can follow a daily devotional guide, written by C.E. leaders around the world.
Prayer Points – as part of prayer week, global prayer requests are gathered and shared by the U30Collective (a group of young people under 30 years old who work together via WhatsApp on different C.E. projects throughout the year).
10th Legion – for many, prayer week events will provide the launching pad to a deeper level of commitment that goes beyond one week of the year. The C.E. 10th Legion is for those that are ready to strive to a higher level of commitment to living for Christ.
