Mission Weeks Director

I think I was 12 when I started volunteering with Christian Endeavor’s summer Work Camps. All throughout middle and high school, every summer my family and I would travel with our youth group to spend a week helping others – something we loved doing! During my college years, I was less active with C.E., as my summers became devoted to working so I could afford school. I attended Houghton College and graduated in May of 2012 with a BA in Writing and a minor in Business. After a few years of working in the retail world, I wound up working as a print and promotional product specialist. While these roles weren’t ones I had groomed myself for during college, God has equipped me well for every job I’ve had the privilege of holding since graduation. I found myself with the opportunity to work for C.E. and alongside my dad as the Mission Weeks Assistant Director, and have loved it! I help with staffing, volunteer connection, site coordination, attend conventions, and anything else that has to do with the Mission Weeks.

In my free time, I love writing, reading, traveling, taking hikes or kayaking with my camera, or just spending time with my family. I’ve also been prone to talking a lot about my Great Dane/Pit Bull mix named Pinkerton.
