Young leaders often stumble. They have great intentions but many of their plans don’t hit the mark. A reason for this is that they don’t understand the phrase- Everyone is Not Like Me!!
 
Youth are rarely placed in situations where their planning must consider the needs, opinions and interests of others. Young people’s natural response leads them to use their own perspective as the baseline. The result produces events, lessons or atmospheres that the one youth appreciates, but not necessarily that youth’s peers. 
 
Student Profiles provides a snapshot from the lives of six young people that could be in your church or youth ministry. This tool guides young leaders to process their own identity while stopping and considering that "everyone is not like me!!"
